Our vision is to provide communities where our military families can live, work, and thrive. Continuing in this commitment, over the span of five years, more than $420M will be invested into the Fort Cavazos community bringing many exciting changes.

New Construction
and Demolition580+ homes will be demolished paving the way for 580+ new Junior Enlisted homes to be built offering spacious three-bedroom, two and half bath floorplans. Homes will be designed to offer open floorplans, modern finishes, increased storage, and more!

Interior Renovations
1,300 renovations include:
- Interior / exterior doors replacement
- New flooring, paint, lighting fixtures and finishes
- New kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances
- New plumbing fixtures, bathroom vanities, and more
Communities: Comanche II & III, Montague -
Infrastructure Upgrades
- Sidewalks / street intersections will be updated to include accessible ramps.
- Driveways will be re-sloped, removal and replacement of roadway paving, and sidewalks as needed.
- Stormwater systems will receive tree / brush clearing, and concrete repairs as needed.

Exterior Improvements
Paint: 820+ homes will receive a fresh look and exterior painting.
Communities: Comanche II, Patton Park, Venable, Wainwright Heights
Roofing: 2,500+ roofs will be replaced, preserving the integrity of our homes, and improving overall curb appeal.
Communities: Comanche I, II & III, Montague, Venable, Kouma, Patton Park, Wainwright Heights

Tree trimming and dead tree removal will occur on all sides of the homes and street areas.
